We’re starting off with Madame Giry – a little more important in my version than most, because she is, after all, my heroine’s mother.

It’s interesting to see characters that were minor in one version of a story be given a more prominent role in another version.
I imagine she has a more prominent role in your story than in the other versions. Can’t wait to find out. 🙂
