Pre-Order The Storyteller and Her Sisters!

Storyteller Cover 1 - SmallI have, of course, told you that my next novel will be out soon…but you can buy it now!  Well, pre-order, at least. 🙂

Storyteller is now listed on Amazon and you can pre-order a Kindle copy today.  Don’t have a Kindle?  It should be available for pre-order on Smashwords within the next week.

All ebooks will be delivered and the paperback will go on sale on October 10th.

And if you’re still on the fence about buying, might I suggest checking out the excerpt now available on Goodreads?  You can download the first three chapters…but I make no promises that it won’t leave you waiting anxiously for October 10th and Chapter Four!

Blog Wander: Making My Mark

Wanderers 8 - Small CopyToday’s Blog Wander is a guest post on the trials and tribulations of self-publishing.  I’m lifting the curtain and letting you see the crises behind my apparently-on-top-of-it blogging about the process!  Hopefully, if anyone else is looking at self-publishing, it can save them some of the same problems…

Our host today is T. B. Markinson, self-described as “a 39-year old American writer, living in England, who pledged she would publish before she was 35. Better late than never. When she isn’t writing, she’s traveling around the world, watching sports on the telly, visiting pubs in England, or taking the dog for a walk. Not necessarily in that order.”  She’s the author of A Woman Lost and maintains two blogs: Making My Mark is all about authors and publishing, while the 50 Year Project is her movies/books/travel blog.

Check out the guest post here!

Blog Wander: A Library Mama

Wanderers 8 - Small CopyToday’s Blog Wander takes us over to A Library Mama with blogger Katy, for an interview about fairy tales, Walt Disney, and what to expect after The Wanderers.  Katy asked some great questions (and I hope my answers are good too!)

Katy is a “public librarian, bookworm, and mother of two, among other things.”  Her About Page has a lovely story about what inspired her to begin her blog, and the goals behind it.

Along with the interview, we’re offering an ebook giveaway, so head over to A Library Mama for the opportunity!  And come back next week for Katy’s review of The Wanderers as well. 🙂

Blog Wander: The Bookworm Chronicles

Wanderers 8 - Small CopyIn another wandering today, we’re heading over to The Bookworm Chronicles, for something a bit different…  So far, there have been interviews and an excerpt–for today, I wrote a guest post about retelling fairy tales.  You already know I love writing and reading retold fairy tales, and this post explores some of the different approaches for tackling those original Grimm stories to create something new.

The Bookworm Chronicles shares the reading of Jessica, self-confessed bookworm.  She recently read The Complete Brothers Grimm, and her rereading of the Narnia series helped inspire my journey through the audiobooks.  She writes a great blog I hope you’ll enjoy exploring!

And if you wander over for the guest post, you can get a coupon for The Wanderers too…

Blog Wander: The Writer’s Guide to Rejection

Wanderers 8 - Small CopyA new Wandering today, over to a blog a bit different than the book blogs I’ve typically been frequenting…  The Writer’s Guide to Rejection focuses on writing and publishing–which of course means some focus on books too!

Blogger Cherie is also the author of The Advocate Prince (which I highly recommend, by the way) and has invited me to be the first author in her new Author Interview series.

So wander on over 😉 for an interview about the joys and the hazards of the publishing process!
