“There’s nothing wrong with reading a book you love over and over. When you do, the words get inside you, become a part of you, in a way that words in a book you’ve read only once can’t.”
–Gail Carson Levine, in Writing Magic

I don’t tend to read books over and over, but I do relate to that sentiment when it comes to books on spiritual topics. Each time I read one of my favorites, it says something different to me, because I guess I am coming at it from a slightly different perspective in my life at that point.
The most interesting part about re-reading is seeing what’s different, and what’s the same. And since the book (presumably!) is the same, it says a lot about how we’ve changed!
So true. Sounds like Ender’s Game for me 😛
It’s great to have a book you can keep reading and enjoying. 🙂 For me it’s about revisiting a world I enjoyed, or meeting up again with characters I liked.
