I overheard a coworker once explaining why he didn’t like to read. He said you have to get through all the details and character development and he says he doesn’t care about all that he just wants to know how it ends.
*blink blink* Yeah, um…what? I mean, MAYBE he’s just one of those people who likes a good plot and would do better with, say, Asimov, who was never strong on characters anyway. Maybe.
